   About UsHaiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, a country where more than 50% are unemployed, and 65% cannot read or write. The majority of the population cannot get safe drinking water, education, medical care, or sufficient food for their families. A country, where even the able bodied struggle to survive, each day children are born with malnutrition and in poor conditions. Village of Vision for Haiti Foundation began with the idea that changing the life of one person is the first step toward making the world a better place for everyone. With each step, we are constructing a model village in Haiti. In a country where few have hope for a better life, the Foundation has brought smiles of hope to Thousands of people in one village. |

Our MissionVVHF intends to promote education, health and community development to children and families living in rural villages of Haiti; regardless of race, ethnicity or religious beliefs. Our VisionVVHF recognizes the interlocking nature of development issues that are necessary features to a sustainable community. We acknowledge that a community that lacks any of these aspects will not be successful in the long term. VVHF’s vision is to be an all encompassing model for satisfying basic human needs first then providing the education and opportunity for families to provide for themselves, thus developing a strong, successful, and sustainable community. |
